  2. All competitors will have a valid Michigan fishing license.
  3. A Committee member will check livewells on a random basis.
  4. Only largemouth and smallmouth bass 14 inches or longer will be weighed for tournament.
  5. Bass will be measured on a Bumpstick with mouth closed and tail pinched by the Bumpmaster. Bumpmaster’s measurement is final. There will be no disputes over his decision.
  6. If a bass under 14 inches is brought to the scales the short fish and your biggest bass will be put back. The big bass is not eligible for the big bass pot. Courtesy bumps will not be allowed, but bumpsticks will be available for competitor measuring.
  7. You must stay 50 feet away from another competitor who is fishing unless agreed to by both competitors,

  9. Trolling will not be permitted during tournaments. Artificial baits only will be used.  Only one line in the water for each competitor is permitted.
  10. Tournament lakes are not off limits before each tournament including the Classic.
  11. Late arrival at launch. Competitors will be expected to be in the water ready to fish by start time. Ready to fish defined as live well checked and money paid. No late arrivals permitted.
  12. Late arrival at weigh in. If competitors are late to weigh in, 1 lb. will be deducted for every minute they are late. 10 minutes late is automatic disqualification.

NO EXCEPTIONS

  2. To qualify for the 2 day Classic all competitors must have fished 8 tournaments and fished or paid for 12 tournaments. Final day to pay for makeup tournaments is the last Saturday of the regular season at the landing. This money goes directly in the Classic Fund. All who qualify for the Classic have free entry into the 2 day event.
  3. If at any time during weekly events no fish are brought to the weigh in, all money for that day will go directly to the Classic Fund. Also, if 2nd or 3rd places are not paid, that money will go in the George Miller Memorial Classic Fund.
